Smart’s really aggressive with their pricing for every price tier. Being a SIM-only offering, it makes good sense to offer those bundle. I’m planning to get Plan 300 for my employees who just needs unli calls and texts all net and 1GB of data for team updates. Smart’s network has finally catch up to Globe’s but there’s few users to take advantage of those extra capacity. Getting 1,500 a month from corporate lines is still better than their average prepaid revenue of around 100/month.
They use the term "non-stop surf" for reasons of legality and marketing. TBH they should use terms that are simplified and straight to the point so there is little to doubt or overthink.
Same here. Currently in Smart's Enterprise plan (company issued mobile plan) and we are on straight forward term - Unli Data. Literally unlimited. no data capping whatsoever experienced in my almost 3 years of use.
Been on Globe Platinum for 2 years already. They call it "All Day Surf" No cap for data, been using it for hotspot also. Speed is decent, about 15-25mbps. Can go as high as 50mbps (rarely though). Has Globe Duo (landline) Plan 3,799. You have the advantage of "flexing" your "PLATINUM" signal haha. It shows Platinum and not Globe in your phone. Just flash your Platinum signal in airport lounges for free access.
Ok, bit the bullet. Downgraded my Globe Plan to 599 and got Smart 1500 (corp line) with above said inclusions. I'll use it normally and see if non-stop surf isn't aggressive at throttling my data.
I think you can text 8080 to buy cellular data on demand. It will still come out cheaper than 599/month
I'm good. I've been with Globe for 10 years now and I don't mind paying for anytime access. Besides, there's rollover for unused data. I'll just play with the add ons that i don't usually get. Besides, I like switching instantly between Smart/Globe on my iPhone. Registering for a data package first takes away from the experience. People on Plan 100 usually are. 1. No longer in the PH most of the time but wants to keep a roaming number + number to use when coming back. 2. Sentimental reasons for the number (team 0917 + number ko pa since high school) or madami nang may alam, pati banko. I, on the other hand still likes to keep a business and personal line separate -- even when the practicality of paying for 2 lines is rendered moot by Smart's new offers.
speaking of unlidata, i'm still on my old iPhone 5 Plan that comes with unlimited data. not gonna renew this anymore.
