Thirdy wouldn't be able to play because he didn't meet the requirements set by Ateneo. Another news DLSU commit Dyke returns to NU.

My cousin is preparing to transfer to the blue side, where the pastures might actually be greener...

Thank you, DLSU, for turning this...

88 FEU - ADMU 64, K. Ravena needs his teammates if they want to reach the final four...

NOt sure whether the coach isn't the right one for the job (again) or the team after #15 is that mediocre. Here's to another Bo-Perasol-wasted-KRavena-season. And the final one at that.

    So much hype about Pingoy.

Sadly his debut (against FEU at that) didn't make a statement.

Game 1 lang yan, pal! Kaya pa yan! We went up against the top seed, so it'll be okay.

Just pampa-lubag loob, Kiefer Ravena failed to score on his first game, too. His second game? Priceless. Just hope Pingoy will enjoy the same fate.

It looks like we're all in with the small-ball, so we will really get killed on the rebounds at times, especially on the offensive end, we're more likely to be a one-shot team, so we have to make intelligent shots, and find that extra pass. Ikeh, G-Boy, and Gotla are just asked to get the ball and throw outlet passes. Biggest difference is that we don't have a Chris Newsome that got the loose balls, and could start the break himself. The loss of Thirdy will also be telling.

Capacio has improved a bit, showing signs of scoring, but he's still committing travelling infractions like a rookie. Still showing some good signs, he'll be relied on a lot.

Yesterday's game was just a really great game from a really great team. Ateneo, well, malas talaga yung iba, and I'm hoping that won't be the case in the next games.

@jai: What happened to your cousin? He eventually went back to DLSU?

    One Big Fight!

Yeah, first game pa lang naman. I hope he gets his touch on the next game. FEU is really one strong team, that's a given. :)

Ateneo has to improve a lot on defense. FEU had too many penetrations for easy baskets.

UP: We're not your tune-up games anymore!

I'm not from UP but I'm very happy for them. Cheers, Fighting Maroons!

    =======

On the other hand, I've said it since day 1 -- Ateneo has the wrong coach.

Signs that climate change is here: extreme weather disturbances, weather patterns in disarray, and UP men's basketball team at 2-0 and beating a top team La Salle at that. He he
