Still doesn't fix the "dumb smart playlists" synced to iPods. :(

ot: how do you tag a song accordingly that is included in two albums, for example, 21 guns from '21st century breakdown' and 'transformers: revenge blah blah'?

Same problem here. But I think this is more of a hardware issue.

I've always hated that behaviour, when you hover your mouse on the green button in iTunes there's a "plus" sign, when you click it the logical behaviour is to make the current window larger.

It does that for every application on a Mac. You do that in Safari it makes the window wide enough to get the width of a web page, you do it in Mail and it maximises the window, you do it in the Finder and it encompasses the width of whatever it is you have in that window.

You do it in iTunes and it turns into a mini player. (Plus sign there... Gee it must mean that it ADDS something, not make it you know, smaller...) It's been my pet peeve for years. They finally did something about it. Now some manager in the iTunes release team overrules a fairly logical decision from a lower Apple engineer, since you know iTunes actually violates Apple's own guidelines for interface design by having that green button do the exact opposite of what it's supposed to do. :D

Just a little rant... Ha ha, they resisted fixing that oversight for years, now they're just reverting back to the old way, even though it's broken. Apple, Apple, so forward thinking in some ways... Strangely not in other ways.

End of little rant :D . I do love the other features though, especially the column view additions...

Does anyone know if this fixes the bug where it messes up the order of Smart playlists on your iPod/iPhone? (The one where unchecking Live Update is the workaround).

And does it fix that annoying thing where the order of songs in your library is by disc and then track number? (Track 1, Disc 1; Track 1, Disc 2; Track 2 Disc 1; Track 2, Disc 2) instead of T1D1, T2D1, T1D2, T2D2)

EDIT: Looks like Apple's 1 for 2 regarding the above:
