Just buy from an authorized reseller. Not worth it, baka nakaw pa makuha mo. Or just buy second hand if you're on a budget.

There are powermac and beyond the box stores in greenhills. If you really want to check out the units outside those 2, check the box for the serial number then check it on the apple support page if it is brand new or not

Since you're investing a pretty penny, do what Leo says and purchase from an authorized reseller. Check out Beyond the Box or iStudio. They will give you smooth hassle free transactions.

Agree with @cybersniper. You should just wait for the sale that Charlie has from time to time

Really depends if your willing to get the newer specs and if you have the budget. I was lucky enough to buy a MBP mid-2014 2.8GHz 512GB flash with warranty 'til oct.2015. And the unit still looks brand new. Maingat yung owner. Got to save 31K in the process. Will just purchase an AppleCare before expiration of 1 year warranty. :):):)
