Hi! I've been using Transmission ever since I got my MBP, but the HD crashed over a month ago and I had to get it replaced. I was given a temporary HD, but the application won't work anymore! I've done some research and it says that I have to open the port, but am clueless on how to do it. Can someone please teach me how to open the port? Thank you!

You should access your router's settings and configuring port forwarding to the appropriate port and IP address. Search for it online, you'll find many guides.
