anybody know why toast titanium 7 keeps showing "media error" and spitting out coasters when burning on some apple drives? a friend keeps getting the message on her 15" albook, but the same brand of disc burns fine on my 12", using the same software. tia!

Your friend might need to reboot her notebook first before burning. Or, maybe the burn speed should be lowered.

Or the toggle switch between DVD or CD at the low righthand corner might be set at DVD when he/she's burning a CD. Happened to me when I was burning a CD. NakaDVD pala sa ilalim. I wasted a lot of CDs.

What if the media problem still persists even if I set my burn settings to even 2x and made sure CD was selected in the lower section?

itungsten, other options: reinstall toast titanium or install and use the previous version.
