I just recently bought a 1TB Time Capsule from the Apple Online Store, it shipped March 1st, and the new one came out March 3rd...what is the chance that the one shipped was the new model?

If it isn't do you think I would be able to switch it in for a product at the PMC at GB3 or MOA? I used a US address so it should arrive in about two weeks.

I would really hate to find out that I bought the old model just days before the new one was released, and have to send it back to request a replacement/upgrade if possible.

    Any information would be appreciated.

You bought it in the US online store and sent to a US address? Who will receive it? Why not just ask the recipient to go to an Apple Store and have it replaced?

Hmm... If it already shipped then it would be harder to have it exchanged for the newer one. Not sure though.

I'm also wondering how you're going to receive it? Are you having someone ship it from the US address you gave? Would you please clarify this? Thanks.

IMO, the updates to the wireless stuff isn't too much of a problem if you only use it with macs. But if you really need A/B/G 2.4ghz then just buy an extra router and use that as an access point.
