Apple Weighs Letting Users Switch Default iPhone Apps to Rivals | Bloomberg

Chrome for iOS uses WebKit - IMO, Apple has nothing to loose if they allow users choose a third party default browser.

Mail - either Apple works overtime to improve it, or just allow third party apps (our office's contract with MS states that we must use Outlook for iOS/Android)

Personally, as an Android user. Ability to choose default Apps is one of the reasons I'm using Android.

Odd that they phrase it that way but where else would you need to set your “default” music service but only on Siri when dictating what music to play? Other apps can direct you to your Spotify music if they wanted to. This is only needed on Siri - for music that is. Not sure what else you’d expect from it
