I am binge-watching The Mandalorian again because I have gone an entire Star Wars filmography including Rogue One and Solo so now it’s this one. I regret not to have finished this while on Apple + promo but now is a great time to sit back and watch it all over again.

Just after I finished making sampay sa labada

I'm very late but just discovered Schitt's Creek. Great writing plus awesome cast makes for solid laughs!

I've started watching "Into the Badlands" (AMC) on Netflix. The series follows a warrior and a young boy who journey through a dangerous feudal land together seeking enlightenment. It's like Mad Max and Ip Man mixed with an old school Western and Samurai vibe to it.

The fight scenes are great, akin to The Matrix, Kill Bill, and old-school kung fu shows. The cast is led by Daniel Wu, an Asian-American actor and other actors who may have appeared in other movies in bit parts. Stephen Lang, from Avatar, is also in it.

Unfortunately, it only lasted 3 seasons before getting axed early last year.

Eugene Levy is hilariously funny, if there is such a thing. Next to The Big Bang Theory, this is my second best comedy series.

Forgot to post here that, aside from "Trying", I've enjoyed the other TV shows on AppleTV+, like "Amazing Stories", "Little America", and "Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet"!

Hope they add more seasons to these shows because they were pretty good!

^as an old gamer, I tried “Mythic Quest” last week. Interesting characters & fun to see how video games are made. But I found it “too Charlie Day-ish” and while it’s not that “cringe type comedy” we see in “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” there’s that Rob McElhenney touch I never really got to warm up to. I plan to see episode 2 this weekend though as I really miss “Upload” (y)

Binged on The Great, a new Hulu original comedy that's occasionally based on the true story of Catherine The Great. The comedy's like the movie The Favourite. Great series, but not perfect. Maybe it's because it's a comedy with non-comedians. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Huzzah!

Good thing I'm not too familiar with the other shows you mentioned. Except for "Upload" which I saw the first episode but had to set it aside to prioritise other shows. Somehow it didn't really "spark joy" with me as much but I would probably go back to it later, once I've exhausted other options.

    I actually liked your emoji.

I slept halfway thru The Great. Not so great. Even the comedic moments are flat to me. Maybe they were trying so hard at drama.

Into The Night is getting a second season. The Belgian apocalyptic thriller on jet (it’s first season) is coming back. Intriguing because this was previously hyped as a limited series. So maybe the hanging finale did the producers to reconsider. Fun Fact: ITN season finale was re-shot for its final five minutes to accommodate a second season, and by dealing one of its major characters a screen death.

Seems nobody is getting a kick out of Killing Eve anymore. Josie Comer may have won her BAFTA and Emmy but her Villanelle assassin is now coming back the corner into mediocrity. Season 3 hasn’t been as epic as Season 1, or maybe because Phoebe Waller-Bridge is gone writing elsewhere. Even Sandra Oh is being wasted here. She used to be the flashy mind against the brawn of Villanelle. Now she looks tired and old.

And who kills her mother and kin because of what she is and become? That is maybe the darkest episode for KE this season. Glad there are just 3 more episodes left.

Thanks for your reviews. I'll skip it, then. It was already losing me by Season 2, anyway.
