here's one for those who weren't satisfied with Episodes 1 and 2 of The X-Files...Episode 3 is entitled "Mulder & Scully Meet the Were-Beast"...it's back to basics for the two and it's a hilarious and comedic take that defined the show in previous seasons... This two were having a great time together, with a lot of one-liners, puns and take-backs...so funny that you even root for the antagonist, who is actually the Were-Monster (or Were-Lizard, whatever it is)...
Currently enjoying Lucifer. 2 Episodes in. The tv series is based on Neil Gaiman's Lucifer but I the premise to be the only thing remotely related to the graphic novel. Lucifer giving up his place in hell and retired in LA and running a Jazz Club (in this tv series it's a club with a piano in the middle).
Any word on when Person of Interest will resume? Last I heard, they're delaying the latest season and Nolan said they're shaping it up as a potential finale season.
http://tvline.com/2016/01/12/person-of-interest-season-5-premiere-date/ CBS president assures that season 5 will be aired this spring.. so latest date would be June 19 as per the article as it is the last day of spring. Yep. Might be. CBS hasn't confirmed it yet but various outlets have said that it might be the last. http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Person-Interest-Ending-Season-5-77587.html http://www.ibtimes.com/why-cbs-left...edule-why-you-shouldnt-panic-just-yet-2206250
Bring out the duct tape and the Swiss Army knife. MacGyver reboot is on the works! From the article: "The original reports claimed the series "will feature a 10 years younger protagonist. Twentysomething Angus MacGyver gets recruited into the clandestine organization from the original series where he uses his knack for solving problems in unconventional ways to help prevent disasters from happening. The CBS series also is expected to chronicle how MacGyver acquired some of his famous skill sets."" Source: https://www.yahoo.com/movies/macgyver-reboot-pilot-gets-picked-033750109.html
^Ugh, not another reboot of an iconic TV show...sometimes, there are things that shouldn't be changed at all... What would you think if they rebooted The X-Files with a new cast, say Chris Pratt for Fox Mulder and Amy Schumer for Dana Scully...and oh, Will Ferrell for Asst. Dir. Skinner?
Episode 4 of The X-Files just fell flat...not even a whimper, actually...same, same mystery surrounding a series of murders then we get to see the murderous imitation of Banksy (in Philadelphia, of all places), and then Scully's mother dies... For what it's worth, just two episodes left in this mini-series before we all close the book and chapter on Mulder and Scully...We want to believe that something good will come out in the end...
The continuation of Suits season 5 is really tense. It's as if the whole series is about to end! The "antagonist" now is DA Gibbs, portrayed by Leslie Hope, who also plays Secretary of the Navy in NCIS, whose lead character is Gibbs, who is also tough as nails. I wonder if it's just a coincidence... Anyway, three episodes left for the season. What a ride so far!
We just started watching the X Files season 10, episode 1 was amazing! Conspiracy theories, the Agenda 21 rant, elitists and the US government.
^that Season was still one of the best in the series...the new Season is just about up-and-down every episode, and this fifth one is definitely too bland to relate to...just one more and The X-Files will be over and done, forever... I hope they make the Truth Out There still entertaining enough for us...
Be as it may, I did love the stinging humor in "Babylon", The X-Files' penultimate episode...here's a classic exchange: Agent Miller: Hello, anyone down here? Dana Scully: Nobody but the FBI's most unwanted. Dana Scully: [to Mulder] I've been waiting 23 years to say that! Fox Mulder: How did it feel? Dana Scully: Pretty good. Oh, and yes, this too...
I just started watching Dark Net, a docu-series about, well, the dark web...Episodes 1-4 are out and they deal with online BDSM, revenge porn, virtual love, biohacking, RFID, upgrading, cyber child pornography, and a whole lot more...quite an eye-opener especially if you've just heard about it but apparently now what the dark web offers is quite staggering, to say the least...
