^Been using my Momax Ipower go bought from BTB at 50% off c/o Globe vouchers, still doing great.
8800mah and can charge my 5s for about 3-4x. Looks stylish as it mimics a Rimowa luggage! :)

Without the voucher it's quite pricy so I am having second thoughts since there are cheaper options. But momax power banks looks really good and stylish! Decisions hmmm....

Try Lepow or Mobile Wonders. Both are cheaper but good in quality (w/ extra features), lightweight and stylish too.

TSA requires them (or any power bank) to be hand carried so the passenger can monitor them all the time. There have been reports of power banks unattended in the checked-in bags that have caused minor incidents. Seems the unpressurized condition in the cargo hold does not agree well with power banks.

@Kiko, better check the baggage restriction information of the different airlines for the limitations. For Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific, the max size is 160 watt-hours. Anything bigger cannot be carried onboard.

Where can I buy an (inexpensive) 2A wall adapter? I need one for my Yoobao powerbank with 2A input.

its been a long back read for this thread and i've narrowed down my choice to either a Yoobao or an Anker.

for Anker, which is better: the A3, A4 or A5? is the difference only in capacity or are there other features that differentiate the 3 models?

    TIA for the inputs!
