I've been using the Sanyo Eneloop Mobile booster KBC-L2B (rated at 5000mAh) and so far so good. I'm able to charge my iPhone at least 2x before it gets depleted and needs to be recharged again.

Got a good deal this boxing day at Amazon UK for the New Trent IMP120D (12000mAh) - £39.98 each. I bought 2 (for myself and my fiancée), as we travel a lot. Can charge her iPad 2 and iPhone 4 at the same time. No worries in running out of juice.

im using this ibattz Mojo BattStation 7200 mah . got it a few days back.

yes , it works with all iPHone and all versions of iPad.

Yes , it still charges my iPad to keep it going.
i will try to see how long and how much can it charge my ipad 3.
it normally takes 6-7 hours to be fully charged using the Apple wall charger.

i love this power bank from ibattz ....

What would you guys recommend for me? I have no idea about power banks but I do want the convenience of having a power source since I am always on the go and on business. What would you suggest for a power bank that would be a good choice for Iphone5 and IPad Mini?:) Something not too expensive, branded and delivers good performance?

I'm using mipow power tube 5500 mah. Can fully charge my Iphone 5 and blackberry with still power to spare. On full power it can charge my iPad 2 at 65-70 percent. :)

Got a New Trent iFuel IMP500 about 10 months ago from Amazon. I usually bring it when I go out of town or when I know I will be using my phone more than usual.

Doesn't work with my Blackberrry though.

the mili power rover at 8000mah or the ibattz at 8400 mah would do the trick if you care more about the amount "backup power" than the size of the backup device.

At first i was worried that i chose the wrong power bank (mili power rover 8000mah) after knowing about ibattz mojo dual 8400mah but researching further on what i picked & the counterpart, made me believe that i have the better one (for my needs). The difference of the two besides the price is that the mili power rover is really intended to power up ipads & tablets,it have the usb 2 port specifically designed for ipads/tablets because its on 2.1A meaning it charges the ipad as fast as the original charger that comes with it (10W apple adaptor) unlike ibattz mojo that only have 2 1A usb ports on it. Also, mili rover is the lightest power bank made with 8000mah,its bigger than mili shine but when i compared the weight while buying before, its as light as the mili shine. Its also kinda thin & can still be put on your pocket,on matte feel so it doesnt slips on your hands, with led power indicator too. Its been very useful for my family,me & my hubby have iphone 5,my kid with itouch 5,plus ipad 2 & pocket wifi. So whenever we are on the go, atleast 3 or more of our devices can be powered up,& its just on the other side of my cellphone pouch (the other side for my phone),like just bringing another phone with you. I chose something branded because i want something that i can use for a long time, worth the price, warrantied locally & a branded thats already trusted when it comes with power banks,i dont want to sacrifice our gadgets or worry that it may damage it. This is just my opinion guys,it still depends on where & how you intend to use it.

Got a freebie Solar/USB rechargeable power bank (even charges on a fluorescent light). It's only 1200 mAh, but it's free so no complains here.
