Brilliant! And if the speed falls below say under 80% what you expect for a certain number of times it will send you an alert or report to PLDT directly?

So the bandwidth upgrade commenced prior to 10:17PM Sunday 23 December 2018.

I'll downgrade my plan before February to make certain this isn't a fluke.

You're right. Upgrade was rolled-out on our area around 9:17pm to 10:17pm last night.

I think the threshold I set was around 85% at the time and used Pushbullet for mobile push. At the time, the service was really bad and it always notifies me on my phone. Disabled it after a couple of months lol.

Now I just monitor it from time to time on a custom web-based front-end, hence the screenshot.

Maybe Google wifi is the gift for 200mbps and up. Doubling the speed might be the gift already for the others. Unless someone can confirm they also got the Google wifi and double the speed.

I am on Fibr 1899, just checked my speed. its 50 dl and 75 ul.
isnt DL and UL speed should be in sync? as I remembered last time i checked its 25 dl and 50 ul which is down from 50 dl 50 ul when I still have speedboost with PLDT,

has no news about the speed upgrade, was thought 1899 was upgraded from 20 to 25, and never thought of getting 50 with 1899,

planning to go for Converge pa naman,

I managed to spend a good part of Christmas Eve checking Wifi speeds around the house.

Just like that, 99mbps now sucks :)

    120 down / 180 up.

Uploading 3-gig videos to YouTube takes around 5 minutes.
