No. I got an MBA on huge discount. I might get the next generation MacBook though.

Was at BTB V-Mall earlier today and if I saw it right, it was 3.9k. Still too pricey for a 32GB flash drive :D

I am thinking twice of getting a new 2015 Macbook pro (with top-tier spec) since I am here in LA now. Hmmm.

Power Mac has some Tucano sleeves and hard shell case for the Macbook. Anyone tried these? Any particular advantages/disadvantages when using these hard shell type cases for Macs? And are there any more options out there available locally? I'm looking for a sleeve with a really snug fit. BTB still has no cases/sleeves specifically for the Macbook and when I tried the Acme Made sleeve for the 11" MBA, it's not the fit I'm looking for although it's the closest so far

I'm currently using a Wenger 10.2" / 26 cm sleeve but I find it to thick for my taste due to the padding. I also have a Lab C USA Pattern Sleeve (for 11" MBA) and I also find it a bit thick

If anyone is interested in the Wenger or Lab C, PM me. Both are still in almost brand new condition with no scratches/damage

Anybody here has an early '11 MBA? I'm wonderin' how does it compare, performance-wise, to the current Macbook.
Wifey wants to sell hers (after we replaced the battery) and buy the gold one.

    Got this earlier today:

I bought it from a trusted seller from TipidPC for 1.3K. Still high priced for a 32gb flash drive but at least a lot cheaper than the one Sandisk offers with USB-C

YGPM... but i'll post it here just the same for everyone's info in case other muggers would also want to know. Purchased it from a seller in TPC named village4. Mostly he sells powerbanks and memory cards but he was able to get this type of flashdrive from his supplier as well. He's a trusted seller of mine and I can assure everyone you won't have problems dealing with him (not connected with him in anyway, he's just been my go-to guy for powerbanks and memory cards for a very long time now)

That is definitely more reasonable though still a bit pricy for a 32gb!

I agree. But so far, it has proved to be very useful. I hardly use the USB to USB-C adapter anymore since I got this. So it's kinda worth it na din so far :D

To Macbook 2015 owners, has anyone of you experienced a squeaking or clicking sound when opening or closing the lid? Mine seems to make noises. Googled the issue and I found this: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7035002. I don't remember hearing this until now.

No squeak and/or clicking sound on mine so far. From the Apple Support Discussion thread, it looks like this was solved in two ways: one user kept using the Mac until the squeak disappeared and another had it fixed/replaced by Apple o_O

Tried the macbook today at Powermac. The keys barely have any travel. Typing on the air was so much easier. If only i can transfer the screen and force touch to the MBA

I also forgot to add, the 420p cam was a huge disappointment. And the bottom of the display unit was very warm (maybe because of the fanless design). The 13 inch air was nowhere near as hot

^actually, might doesn't get hot except when charging...besides, the isight i don't use much...i prefer to Skype/FT on the iPad...

my mba is still around but the "bulk" it carries compared to the new mb is prominently evident...

    of course, YMMV...

Mine doesn't get hot also while charging. I think the keyboard is really a matter of preference and getting used to. After getting used to the Macbook's new keyboard, I find it better than the old one. But of your course, to each his own. :)
