When the power adapter is plugged in through the AV Multiport adapter the macbook sees the power supply as 23W, when its plugged directly into the mac its 29W. I haven't timed the charging to see if it makes a difference.
iStudio has 12 months zero interest on ALL major credit cards. try shang istudio. BTB only has 6 months for now.
i-studio gateway has SIX (read again: SIX!) new macbooks on display...and they're not selling them you have to get a reservation, and i'm no. 27 on the list... so sad... Edit: Hey, i'm one happy camper! Thanks david @omarstan for delivering it to my door... so happy now...
Yes i did, and i have to tell you its a beauty using it... Snapshots from unboxing... and as you requested, Norman taking his early morning nap...again and another..
so far, what have i discovered about the new Macbook... 1. the keyboard is good for one with small- to medium-sized fingers, and the keys are just right for typing tho' you have to get used to it if you've come from a standard pc keyboard or the older mac keyboards... 2. this is blazing fast, as in, internet browsing, file downloading, movie meta-tagging, app launching...these are what i know so far after 13 hours of continuous use... 3. since 6am today, after a full charge last night, it is still 80% battery charge, with wi-fi on, keyboard ambient lighting, and enough brightness to see Norman the Frenchie under my glass table... 4. idk about you but i have to say this, a gorgeous retina display this is...watched interstellar just now and it was mind-blowing... 5. if this were a movie to be rated, it would get 10/10 for me... more later...
Just tested one a few hours ago in an Apple Store, sorry but I am not impressed with the keyboard. Maybe I'm just used to typing on my 15-inch rMBP 2014 and my Lenovo Thinkpad X240. I like the size and the thinness, too bad the program we use at work only works in a Windows Explorer browser, otherwise, the size, weight, and thinness would've been perfect because I carry my Thinkpad in every patient evaluation I do. The keyboard feels similar with the Surface Pro 3's keyboard, but for the lack of a better word to describe it, feels like shallow. Overall, I liked the machine, it looks like an iPad with a keyboard minus the touchscreen.
That MacBook is a beauty but a lot more expensive than the Air! Maybe if you want less weight on your back you have to unload a lot more from your wallet... Unless you get it via installment, making it a monthly financial burden to carry, hehehe....
Well... The macbook is certainly super light to carry. It will lighten your pockets as well. [emoji14]
Some more pics to whet your appetite..and hey, that Apple Watch costs more than this svelte beauty.,,
Finally got the macbook I reserved from BTB for my wife, after several weeks wait. Here it is on top of my now humongous-looking 2010 13in MBP and beside the superdrive. Ang Ganda!
A minor, but almost deal-breaking setback for the wife: Farmville 2 on Firefox doesn't run well, with missing animations and graphics. Imagine seeing your lush green fields being reduced to brown patches--the plants are there but they just can't be rendered. On her 2011 13inch MBP, she didn't have any problems like these. After some quick googling, I found a recommendation that FarmVille 2 on macs runs best on Safari. And it did run! Whew.
Absolutely! (Inggit tuloy ako, hehe) And it was so convenient to carry around a mall last night, almost like just lugging an iPad. She was looking for the perfect bag, but since choices were limited in Power Mac and Digital Walker Robinsons Magnolia, she settled for a sleeve for now--one for the MBA 11 but it was a snug and perfect fit also for the MB12.
i'm sure perry (@Powerpee) can help us in making a perfect sleeve, sheath or leather casing for this MB...
