It seems the official USB-C to USB-A adaptors are now in local stores. I saw one at Switch ATC.
now that i have decided to get the new Macbook, where o' where can i get this?
My plan to get the Macbook in Singapore failed. All of the stores I went to had no stocks. Sad. :-(
okay, so that would mean someplace a little closer...like GH?
I'm not sure about how I feel about getting it from Greenhills.
try to reserve from local apple resellers. You'll get a better deal.
I dont like the new keyboard but the trackpad is sorcery..
jst bought one from greenbelt
How about the one with a VGA adaptor? I desperately need one. Hehe
Which variant did you get?
it will take a lil time geting used to the keyboard but the trackpad....wow! ive been to the apple star many times here in fresno and cant decide. I really like the MBAir 11, but it looks old compared to a macbook...my solution wait til sept. the mbair 11 pprob will come out with a retina and new trackpad.
For those looking for USB-C to USB-A adaptors, I just got mine a while ago from switch glorietta. They still have 8 boxes on display. No multiport adaptors yet though.
If anyone discovers that there is a multiport adaptor at cdrking please let everyone know. There are orig apple multiport adaptors in the US but hesitant to buy one at P 3800 (converted)
I actually found a seller in Tampines mall. Was able to get the Macbook Gold 512gb variant. Got lucky i guess as that was their last stock.
Tried buying one in Tokyo but all stores I visited including Yodabashi are all out of stock.
If you tend to plug in a lot of thumb drives the Ankler hub is great.
Anyone know of a store in Manila that sells the USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter? Was calling some of the Beyond the box and istudio branches and they only have the USB-C to USB adaptor.
Let me know if you guys have any leads.
which stores still have stocks of the new MacBook locally?
one store in GH is selling a macbook gold 512gb variant for 98K and space grey 256gb variant for 85k...
I just saw the new Macbook up close and it does look and feel better than the MBAir!!! But the lack of the usual ports makes me feel like it is not something I can live with for now...
On the other hand, the MacBook Air does look a bit dated, and big (well, I compared a 12-inch Macbook to a 13-inch MBA).
