    My AW in 42mm Sport Band White has arrived!

    Anyone here who's able to get the messages app working properly? I've read somewhere that it only works with iMessages (using the iCloud email address and not the text messages that go through the mobile networks, is this true?

    Hmm, isn't JAC on Apple's barred list of shipping addresses?

    I guess not. I used "JAC Plus", I don't know if there's a difference though. Also, I called JAC before I did the transaction and they told me they can ship Apple products. It was a hassle free shipment, actually it was supposed to arrive July 3.

    Congratulations on your Apple Watch. Here's my experience, if i'm using the phone my messages don't show up on my watch. But if it's idle for some time and in my pocket I get all my messages and mail notifications. I guess it's some sort of battery saving feature. It goes for iCloud, sms, IG etc.

    I thought JAC doesn't ship items with lithium batteries anymore like MSB. Must have read wrong. I used myEcasa to ship my Apple watch. It arrived at their warehouse earlier today, got billing this afternoon. Hopefully, it will be here by next week.

    i am able to receive SMS...and iMessages when my iPhone connects to wi-fi...

    been torn between aluminium and black aluminium , to those who got the black sport aluminium one, how was it , are they prone to scratch and discolouration? thanks in advance :)

    When I reply to a message on the watch to a person who has imessage but is not online I will get a notification that there is an unsent message. But when I go to messages on the phone. The message is blue (iMessage) and shows delivered underneath. So it does not send as text on failure. The receipient does not get the message.

    Anyone have the same experience?

    Yes I just experienced this. My iPhone was two floors above me when I used my Watch to text; not sure if that correlates, just reporting it.

    ^experienced the same thing, even when replying to an iMessage...

    but when the AW hits a wifi zone, it sends it anyway...beats me

    I just got feedback... my iMessage got through when the recipient turned on his Cellular Data. So, iPhone sends a message as text when it can't connect through iMessage, but Watch always sends as iMessage to those who I've previously sent iMessages to.

    Really? The only notifs I get so far when the phone is idle are: mail, IG, FB and Calls. My messages still don't work at all. Imessage barely works. And I'm always on wifi. :( How do I fix it? I can't receive notifs for my sms...:(

    For the billing address, I used the same JAC address since I transacted via a local CC. You just have to edit your details in iTunes after the transaction because they will use the US address as default.

    Another thing, you don't have to pre-sign the delivery document. Bill na heheheh

    Hmmm try to go to your notifications settings in your iPhone. Make sure everything is turned on in messages, or play around with the configuration. That's what I did also. Lastly reboot:)
