Latest and greatest is preferred but... damn that's like buying two 2017 models.
One thing for sure, Apple doesn’t lower their price tag even on Xmas, if your willing to wait there are FB and GH Sellers that will have their stocks ready in a week or two.
Apple actually increased the price of the iPad Pro by $50 in September 2017
Where did you bring your iPad? I brought mine at PowerMac for the white spots and they said they can't replace it since
the white spots alone is a sign of physical damage. I still have a warranty for my device.
My wife’s 10.5” iPad Pro also has the white spot above the home button, it gets distracting on white backgrounds. No use having it replaced because the replacements will also exhibit the problem in the future (according to posters at Macrumors and Apple support website)
It’s not physical damage there’s something on that spot under the display applying pressure.
The service center in Robinson Galleria. Sorry cant remember the name right now
Sigh PowerMac again.. I learned never to trust them
I think we have the same exact problem. I just learned to live with it but shame on Apple's quality control
Was it QCD Tech?
Might be the iPad bending over time? thus pushing some components to the display over time.
Me and so many others
Yes thats the store
Wondering if this is the the correct thread to post this, but anyone here use their 10.5" iPad Pro to edit photos? What's your workflow?
I recently got an Apple Pencil and Lightning to USB 3 Adapter and just starting to get back into some amateur photography using my Panasonic DMC-G3 which I forgot I have!
What apps, tips and tricks can you suggest please?
I had mine replaced last year BTB BGC, they accepted the unit naman. Yun lang yung replacement nung una was ok but now it's showing the white spot in the same area
Was planning to get the 2018 iPad but the bend issue that they say is Normal deterred me from getting it. I'll just wait for the next Gen along with the new iPhone in 2019.
hey there, i use my ipad pro for quick and light edits of fuji and olympus raw and jpeg images using snapseed. but if you have subscription to lightroom, better use that.
same here, will probably wait for the bend issue to get fixed or the ipad mini, if it gets pro features like better cpu, pencil support and more ram.
Hi, cheers. I’ve now installed Snapseed and will look into it later. Prefer the free option(s) for now ‘til I get a bit better at it.
guys anong effect nun white spot issue?
plan ko kumuha ng 10.5 model. may good deal kasi at SGD800 sealed set 256gb cellular model free smart case pa.. worried lang ako sa white spot issue. currently air gamit namin kaso 64gb lang yun. and mostly anak ko gumagamit... i want the 2018 model kaso ang mahal.
Wow... 800SGD lang 256gig WIFI CELLULAR... ₱31,100 converted to Php PESO... GOOD DEAL... ID get that and Not worry ... since you Will still get apple care when you BUY IT..... ID say GO FOR IT...
Brought mine to iFix Center and in 5 minutes they got my iPad Pro and advised me to wait 3-4 weeks for a replacement. Don't ever bring your warranty claims at PowerMac.
Purchased my Apple iPad Pro 10.5 a month prior the 11-inch was released. Really waited for this exact timing as I was aiming for the big price drop which I absolutely got. Even if you don't do the conversion - imagine from QR2,700 down to QR1,550. That's a lot! No regrets. I already knew the next one was coming. Still the best acquisition I made. And, yeah, get this instead of the 2019 Air. You won't regret it. Still, the best mobile computing experience, IMHO.
OT: I haven't posted on PhilMUG in years, I think.
