the most expensive mac software challenge

    what's the most expensive mac software to date?

    im just curious. i just came across TechTool Pro w/c is $98. i've got a feeling its even cheap compared to others. :rolleyes:

    Final Cut Studio 2: Cheapest at Amazon, $1,234.05
    Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium: Adobe site, $1,799
    Yes, tech.junkie, Tech Tool Pro is cheap compared to these. ;)

    OMG Final Cut Studio 2 at the apple website is $1299! the entry level macbook is even cheaper.

    im quite surprised that some software are as expensive (some even more) than hardware.

    Hmm, that's because without the software, the hardware is just a quiet piece of equipment? ;)

    Autodesk Maya 2008 Unlimited (Standalone) around $7,000

    wow!

    i was surprised w/ TechTool Pro bec. its just a utility. in analogy to hardware, its an accessory rather than the unit. again in analogy, the main apple apps can be the units maybe its why they cost as much.

    The fact that you can make so much money using these software makes them sensibly priced :)
