thats the reason this fight is put up so soon after the KO with Marquez, he needs it, may be not bec he is poor or to cover his campaign expenses (all from his pocket & contribution to party to assure of win?) who knows!!!

but a quote I read somewhere on the net really etch on my mind, doing 2 things at the same time is not good, what if Yolanda hits Saragani instead of Tacloban? where is their Congressman? will he call the fight quit and help his kababayan? now people should know who to vote for in the future.

It was a good comeback fight for Manny. I, for one, had doubts if he would be able to compete at an elite level again after the Marquez knockout. But this fight showed a new Manny, a boxer and not a slugger. I think now that he is relying more on boxing skills rather than knockout power, which makes him vulnerable to counterpunches, he still has a lot of fights before he retires. I noticed that boxers, such as Floyd Mayweather and of course, Ali, have longer careers than sluggers.

I scored that slip in the first round as a knockdown.

so boring, if not advertised, you might doubt its just a practice, but anyway congrats to our own best boxer,

also parang practice session na kalaban niya 'punching bag', just stand there and take all the soft punches, hence so many punch and still no KO, hehe!

Well for one, Rios is a big bodied fighter with a tested chin that seems to take a lot of punches, if there's something to celebrate is that he is back, a more methodical boxer than a slugger, KO will just be a bonus, after all i don't see Gayweather doing KO's even. Congratulations Manny Pacquiao!
