Does anyone here experience Bending? My 5 month old 6+ Bent, Somehow twisted. Is it covered by the warranty? I got my unit from globr. I read some article that apple will replace it if it passed the visual test. Need help!

I usually put it in my front pocket or inside my bag. And i often check my 6+'s appearance. Im surprised that yesterday when i checked it's not straight anymore. :(

^you can return the unit to globe, if that's where you got it...but i can see how it may have bent from probably sitting down while it was in your front pocket...

Globe will just give me a certificate/form that the unit came from them and i will bring my unit to service center and show the form.

Do you think the SC will replace my unit? I put my 6+ in my pocket when im walking then hold it when sitting.

    Anyone here experience bending?

Anyone experienced loss of signal on their iPhone 6 plus on Smart Network?

When I go to parking area or ground floor of our house, I usually loose signal, then the phone won't reconnect anymore. I tried to put in Airplane mode for minutes but still no signal, only fix is to restart the phone. iOS is updated to 8.3.

    Anyone able to fix this?

    Thanks!

Ok, I am certain that this has been discussed somewhere here in this thread or another but for some reason I cannot find a definitive answer so I'll ask again and hope that you folks still have the patience to answer... :)

Can I use Facetime on an iPhone 6 unit from UAE if the unit in question will be used outside UAE? From some discussions I read on the Apple support forum, some are insistent that it cannot be activated regardless where it's used. While some are saying that Facetime can be used as long as it's outside the UAE. So which is it?

I have a co-worker who's selling a UAE unit and I'd like to get as much info as I can before I even test it if FT works using a local SIM and it's location is set for PH

If anyone's had actual experience with units such as these, please share your thoughts on this

    Thanks!

^ To answer my own question...

Had the chance to actually test an iPhone 6 unit from UAE and after setting it up for use here (PH region setting and local Smart SIM card), there is still no Facetime. Whether it's the app or the Facetime settings, I couldn't find both.

So there you have it folks. Avoid these units like the plague. Haha! :p

My advice for you is don't buy iPhone without facetime. Even in the Philippines, facetime will not be activated. Even if you jailbreak it. I bought before iPhone 4S in KSA without facetime. Until now facetime is not being activated. I think because the phone serial number is registered as without facetime.

Has anyone tried purchasing apple care + with their iphone..

Im reading about it and it sounds like a sweet deal...it covers accidental phone damage like phone drop etc...

Or do you guys have any other suggestions to get our iphones insured =)

If an iPhone is originally bought overseas, can you claim a local warranty here in the Philippines?
