That is not a typo. I saw it also last night when I went there. However, I checked the back of the box, it's the 1st gen iPad Mini and not the retina display edition.

To Ipad mini-R owners, does your unit comes with the 12w charger? Or just the 5w?

Hi Ivin. How many hours charging time? From 10% remaining battery level.

AFAIK, iPad Mini with Retina comes with a 10W Power Adapter. Mine also comes with the 10W Adapter.

I would like to ask why you need to carry your iPad Mini all the time if you have with you your smartphone? I just believe that bringing both of them all the time is a bit redundant to me. Can anyone share his or her way of using them in different purposes especially if you have a smartphone with a 5 inch screen?

For me, i use the iPad mini mainly for work... I view my documents on my iPad mini using DocsToGo, my cad files using AutoCad 360 and my Sketchup files using SightSpace... Not to mention its much better to surf the internet and watch movies on it than my iPhone 5 because of the larger screen... For my iPhone, i just use it mainly for calls and texts and the occasional checking of my emails...

I do the same. That is why I don't know if having a smart phone is atill necessary if one has a tablet already. Do you think you still need iPhone or a 'dumb phone' will suffice?

whatsapp, fb messenger and bbm are just three apps that do not have official tablet versions.

Personally i also do find it a bit redundant given the power and flexibility of a 5 inch screen smart phone, thus i would prefer the ipad mini and a simple talk and text phone tandem.

i could survive with a "dumb" phone and an ipad mini in partner :) at first i thought it was senseless to bring a 4.5"-5" smart phone and an ipad mini at the same time, thats why i opted at first to get the ipad air, but perspectives change :D

In my case I decided to go for the air instead of the mini, among a couple of other reasons, although the mini was really very tempting. My 5.7 inch smartphone (or phablet) was big enough to handle all the tasks I would need a small tablet for, while going around.

But if the iPhone 5 was (still) my main phone, I most likely would have gone for the mini-the phone would be used for calls, SMS, quick checks or calculations (e.g, calculator, currency converters), while the mini would take care of most browsing, surfing and other duties, reading office docs, etc., where a slightly bigger screen is better.
