I have Sony - vj700s. These are pretty good for djing, good isolation, a little heavy on the bass. Can be bought at Sony stores i think.

Have tried the Sennheiser HD25. Sounds better than the Sonys but cups are a lot smaller. Should be available in most stores that sell Senns.

I have seen nice looking Behringer DJ headphones in Electronics Depot in Galleria. Dont know how well they work.

theres this headphone resource site i always refer to when i buy headphones called Headroom.

i think they offer the best advice for what headphones you should buy giving unbiased recommendations for every type and usage. i duno lang if they recommend dj headphones specifically. but ang alam ko djs require headphones that are sealed. they have a section recommending sealed headphones. no 'dj headphone brands' though like stanton, pioneer, technics, sony... which i think most djs lean towards.

    btw, i use sennheisers. hd497. px100. px200.

saving up for in-ear monitors... i want ultimate earsssssss

if you're getting the technics, get the latest one. the one that looks like the sony mdr v700... i've been using the sony v700s since 98. i'm on my 2nd pair already. they're perty sturdy and now that you can get em locally, it's highly recommended. the newest technics are cool and i've used a pair already but, they're perty expensive. with regards to the pioneer, it's actually ok but i've heard too many horror stories of them breaking when being streched too much... :D

For DJing, I find zChris' Pioneer HDJ-1000 really good for the money. It's sound isolation from outside noises is pretty strong with bass to match, and quite punchy too. But am keen on getting the Sennheiser HD-25i. So I won't be upgrading for a long time.
