When comes to TV and video, Sony is still the best.

    True!

I got a Hisense 43" H7 Series 4K UHD TV with HDR10 for $200 last Black Friday and the investment is worth it! Netflix and Amazon Prime video are some of the built-in apps. For the price, I don't care if it degrades in 5 year's time.

I played BBC's Planet Earth II on it and the picture was fantastic. If you haven't purchased the Blu-ray disc, I'd recommend it. Great reference content for HDR and 4K, the shots were fantastic! I can only imagine what it'll look like on an OLED display.

Their Flagship TVs' panel all came from LG. Even Panasonic started buying OLEDs from LG.

While not everyone has UHD what more OLED, then this new QLED technology from Samsung comes out. It promises to be cheaper and better than OLED, so i guess ill stick with my 4K display for the moment.

Mm....after two years, my TCL 65” has performed beautifully. No product quality issues. Bought it for under 60k in 2018. Time to upgrade so I chose the Samsung 75TU 7000, attractive price for a 75” UHD HDR at php 76,500.00. In the states, it is on sale for under php 40k. 85” still too expensive for my taste.

Airplay 2. Check. Good picture quality. Check. Good price. Check. Hooked it up to one of two 5.1 audio system (middling good value Onkyo amp and Wharfdale system which also functions as my PC gaming system audio via bluetooth) Check. No stupidly bad inferior sound bar. Lol!

microLED looks like the winner by 2026 when 8K resolution video becomes available. Hopefully it will not need 100Mbps of throughput and cost less than $2500.

Apple Stores uses them in-store. All I can say is I'm blown away by the contrast. They're striking!

Mmm....only for the super rich. The 146” Samsung The Wall micro LED can be had in Singapore for around php 17 million. 8K is decades away. Content is the problem. I doubt content makers like Disney will ever release 8K titles. In fact, Disney says they will no longer be releasing 4K in physical media.

At that price point I'd buy one for a commercial movie theater that wont make money until the first 22m Filipinos gets vaccinated.

I want a 21:9 wall to cover one wall of my room. Extends to the baseboard where the floor meets the interior wall and the crown molding where the ceiling meets the interior wall.
