just read this. if the Matutinas you are referring to is the one in Urdaneta then it is indeed just a branch. The main is in Bonuan, Dagupan near the coast of Bonuan Beach. The main branch is way better than the satellite.

If you want the best bangus though go to Dagupeña. That is the best resto here for your bangus fix and you can buy some export quality bangus products here too. It is located at Calasiao besides Robinsons Pangasinan. 5 mins from there you can go to Señor Divino Tesoro Shrine, also a popular pilgrim site. Near Señor Tesoro is the famous white gold of Pangasinan - Calasiao Puto.

i am in no way connected to Dagupeña but you can Google for proof that they are the best solution when it comes to your bangus cravings. They offer more and better bangus dishes and their Binagoongang Crispy Pata too is one of the best.

Sayang, we didn't get to drop by Dagupan. We went over to Kahuna in La Union, so the nephews could surf. The place is pretty okay, food was good, service was great, and the facilities were still seemingly new, despite being in the business for, I think, 5 years. Spend more than a day here though. We drove from Subic, took 4 hours, so from Manila, it should be around 5.5 hours away.

i think Victory is still the best for Baguio trips, but it's just me...fast, reliable, and when you disembark you have microtel and trillionaires inn just above the terminal...

joy bus have 3pm and 7pm trips too. more trips from pasay and cubao terminals. check iwantseats.com.ph for online reservation. joy bus is cheaper by P50 from victory. joy provides blankets, victory doesn't. victory has a better on-board restroom coz they have water on the sink, joy (at least those buses i've been to) doesn't.

from Baguio here. not been raining so much lately, most of the time only in the afternoons or evenings. both marcos hi way and kennon road are open (but should you encounter heavy rains take marcos hi way as a precaution). :)

off-season rate is normally around 2.5k ++ (though might be more now). regular rates go for 4.5k-5k++.

was referring to typical deluxe rooms at The Manor and Forest Lodge inside Camp John Hay. You can try googling for them. Hope this helps :)

Try Genesis or their deluxe bus Joybus, I think they have a terminal on Avenida. It is more expensive but it has captain's chair, toilet and non-stop. But Victory Liner and its deluxe bus is the best option. What is your budget for your hotel accomodation? I am from Baguio by the way.

^Try Trillionaires Inn, just in front of Microtel Baguio adjacent to the Victory Liner Bus terminal...walking distance to Session Road and beyond...has clean and tidy rooms, has a resto/turo-turo on the ground floor for cheap but good enough meals...
