the lens is awesome.. are there any leica lenses that would fit other camera brands? lets say canon for example... (coz panasonic dvx video camcorders have leica lenses).. are there any eica lenses for dslrs?

well, panasonic digital cameras also have leica lenses.... in fact, the leica d-lux and c-lux series are basically rebadged (and doubly expensive) panasonics, so if you want the leica experience without the price tag, go for the panasonic, like this 10-MP panasonic lumix LX-2, now on sale at amazon for $300, which is the same as the $600 leica d-lux 3 with which i took the shot above:

ha ha, thanks, daniel, nakatuwaan lang ;) i was planning to sell off the tiny c-lux 2 when i got the d-lux pero sabi ko, huwag na lang, it's too cute to let go of, and it's reasonably sharp even for a 7.2-MP digicam, so now it travels with me most regular days. for vacations (like tomorrow, am off to palawan), i take the d-lux 3. for more serious work (covering conventions, etc.) i take the G7.... happy new year to you and may you take (i know you will) more great pics!
