What is the best video editing software out there? I usually use imovie 11 for my iphone 4s and iPad2. I also use Imovie 11 on my mac. Other than Final cut pro, do you guys recommend using Adobe premiere?

If the software is from Wondershare, I'll avoid it like the plague. Try to do a search for "Wondershare scam" and you'll know what I mean. I hope this reply isn't too late in your case...

Hmmm... I guess I will need to try their software before purchasing...

I basically just need 3 features (which are not available in iMovie) PIP, Multiple Videos in 1 frame and adjusting/correction of the video's horizon...

Saw FIlmora from the App Store hence I was hoping it was a good alternative to Final Cut Pro

You want to take a look at this free, open source alternative, OpenShot. Looks promising.

Is it possible to just pay 1 month for Adobe Premier then just pay another month when I need it again in the future?

Try Da Vinci Resolve 15, it is free. I personally use Final Cut Pro X and don't have the appetite to learn another or new editing program/software. But if I do have the patience, I will try to learn Da Vinci Resolve 15.

I was just watching some videos about Resolve last night...

    Please give us your feedback.

Personally, I'm happy with iMovie but would want to have something where I can adjust the video's horizon... and maybe edit 360 videos.

Final Cut Pro X 10.4 (and later) supports editing 360 videos! https://support.apple.com/en-ph/HT208212

I also have seen a lot Da Vinci Resolve videos but I don't like its workflow. For example, I don't like the nodes system. Another thing very unappealing to me is there are separate workflow for cutting/splicing clips, color correction/grading, importing media, apply effects, and exporting.
I am not yet ready to dive in. Maybe I'll get a windows laptop first.

Then iMovie should be perfect. I have never used iMovie on a Mac, but only on an iPad Mini. I also love using Movie Looks app.

You're so lucky. Even though I think I am on intermediate level with the FCPX, my first love will always be iMovie and I would always welcome on being taught with the basics. Good basics makes a good foundation for anything.

Hmm. Still not sure if I want to invest SGD450 on a video editing software. For now I'll settle for iMovie. They'll have free sessions for FCP early next year they've given me a 1 month free trial so we'll see.
