my battery's behavior is just weird lately after 10.10 (14A389) Yosemite installation from 10.9.5 Mavericks. Normally i let my mac on sleep mode at night and resume 8 hours after.. After sleep mode the battery percentage shows false figure sometimes it shows 70% & after reboot it shows 15%. This glitch started after Yosemite. anybody experience the same glitch?

Before I create a new thread, I'll just reply here. Where can I find battery replacement for an early 2008 model MBP? It's 15 inches, not unibody. The MBP is in good working condition except for the battery and I'm interested in replacing it. If there's any, how much do you think it costs? TIA

Is it normal to have 95% design capacity with just 100 load cycles? I'm using an early 2013 rMBP

Is it better to always keep the Mac plugged in?

I'm using the rMBP mid 2014. Bought it last Sept. 1, 2014 and I'm already at 60 cycles.

    Newbie Mac user here.

    Thanks

based on my experience, yes. I've bought a few items from them already and they address complaints very well. One time I was not satisfied with a computer case I ordered and they just asked me to ship the item back to them so that they can give me a refund. Please update us if you have purchased your battery. ;)

They say it's ok but sometimes use it until 50% before charging again. I'm always plugged in when playing games for hours then unplug it when just surfing or other stuff.

Anyone knows where I can get a genuine battery for my MBP 13" early 2011 2.3GHZ Intel i5? Of course the cheaper the better =)

Also, is it easy to replace on my own or do I have to send it over to a technician? Ako kasi nag install ng upgraded hard drive and it was really easy. Pag battery ba madali din?

    Thanks

    i guess its somehow related:

What mkv player apps do you commonly use which does not hog too much battery power from your macbook?

Hey guys any official apple repair center in QC my girlfriend's late 2010MBP battery is bloated and it's affecting the trackpad
Ive heard stories from other users that apple replaces the battery even if it's out of warranty can anyone clarify this?

Some service center can replace your battery with service charge. Or you can buy online a genuine macbook battery and just DIY. I think you need a special screwdriver for the battery screws.
