    anybody experiencing facebook watch apps keeps crashing on apple tv device lately?
    i tried restarting and even deleting and reinstalling again the facebook watch app but to no avail

    Not sure how long they've had the design for the new apple tv remote, but it would' be nice if they added AirTag components inside the remote.

    But then again... the iphone already has the apple tv remote control at the control center.

    Good call, apple for not doing this.

    I wonder if the new remote can be used for the previous gen AppleTV.

    I'm willing to get just that.

    I can’t get color balance to work. My iPhone is very near my TV screen already but no success.

    EDIT: finally got it to work after a few tries.

    Mm…after updating TV OS, iPhone iOS to latest, I ran the color balance on my Apple TV. It works. There is a slight, warmer tones on the Apple recommended setting vs. my original color setting. Will do the same on my other Apple TV later.

    I am currently enjoying my free 1 yr apple tv cause I just bought an iphone last year, then we are in a family sharing...
    Now my wife who is also included in my apple family sharing, recently bought an iphone 12, how could we activate her own free 1 yr apple tv+ subscription, so that after our current apple tv+ subs which will expire by July 1, we could extend it to another 1 more year...
    Would that be possible?

    mm…afaik, you can’t combine the two. The solution is to log off your Apple ID from your Apple TV and log in your wife’s Apple ID and that should activate your wife’s free 1 year subscription with Apple TV +. Redemption should occur within 3 months of activating your wife’s new iPhone.

    When I had my iPhone 5S's bloated battery replaced, they replaced the whole unit. When I got the new unit back and logged in with my apple ID, I got an email from apple notifying me about the free 1 year apple TV+ subscription.

    When I got my iPhone 12 Mini last March, I didn't get an invite for AppleTV+, so I guess I don't get another one year free.
