For any app for that matter, just search it on your iPhone/iPad's App store. If it says "Offers Apple TV app", then it will be available on that device.

Thanks for this tip! Apparently none. So via Airplay only.

You can cast iWant using your TV’s built-in Chromecast or a Chromecast device. That’s how I watched the UAAP games. The app’s interface is one of the worst, though.

Im quite disappointed on the progress of the apple tv+ app, they still have only few shows and they seldom add new ones...

There seems to be a shortage of supply for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD. I’ve been looking for units in the past two months from PowerMac and BTB.

could this mean an upcoming refresh on Apple TV?

Has anybody tried pairing their AppleTV with an LCD or HD projector?

I'm moving to a small one-bedroom apartment soon and would like to minimise the space taken up by a big TV. Was thinking of projecting my shows on my living room wall.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this type of setup.

Mm...wall mount an hdtv is still a better option. Minimal footprint, use in bright or dark room conditions vs. a projector set up which needs a dark room to perform optimally.

I have an  TV 4K connected to a projector, another to a 65 in. TV, works well for both.

For your intended use, the practical setup would be a wall-mounted TV, as @raypin says. The dream setup would be an ultra short-throw (UST) laser projector like the Optoma P1 firing onto an ALR screen, which would work even in a brightly lit room, and would take little space. Together the PJ and screen would cost $4k+. Hmmm, even the price is 4K :)

    ^You guys raise good points!

I may not need a screen -- the walls of my apartment are white. One other consideration on cost would be the speaker system that should be appropriate for a big screen.

Will ponder more on this before making a final decision. Thanks!

I managed to snag a 4K 64GB in power mac Megamall in case anyone is looking for one.

Enjoying the interface and the snappy response vs my SMART TV. I just wish HBO Go and iWant TV has a native app.

For those who bought their AppleTV during trips abroad, how did you bring it home? In your carryon or checked-in luggage?

Im litte confused with how subscription works in apple TV. So we got this free 1 year apple tv+ subscription but you still have to pay to watch contents - either buy or rent? Then some shows says “Play first episode”. So does that mean i have to pay to watch the succeeding episodes? I thought apple TV+ is as breeze as Netflix (ex content) or I'm just doing it wrong?

Do you mean you take the ATV out of the box and put it in carryon?

mm...just put the entire package inside your backpack or cabin luggage. Small naman siya.
As a matter of practice, anything valuable or stealable I put in my carryon. If the package is too bulky for carryon luggage, I remove the packaging and place the packaging inside my checked luggage. Why? Never underestimate the luggage thieves at NAIA.

Ah, makes sense! Good thing I'm not arriving in NAIA. Just a short hop from the US to Canada.

My only concern about putting in carryon is will I need to take it out while going through x-ray?

Mm..you should be fine. In SG where they are strict, only laptops are required to be removed from your carry on for separate scanning. It depends on airport screening policy.
