Using the Mini 6 for about 2 days now. Coming from an 11 inch iPad Pro, the 60Hz is drawing me back. It is really noticeable comparing the 2. Even when compared to my 12 mini the screen on the Mini 6 is not that smooth. Now I feel like the 12 mini is around 90Hz.

Edit: saw a thread in Reddit about how laggy the animations are on the Mini 6

had the same experience… i knew the mini only had 60hz going in when i got one and even the jelly scrolling i figured its nothing major… but the combination of these two made the mini seems “slower” than my ipad pro 12.9 and the iphone 13 pro max. Its weird bec when i use my other iphone, an iphone 12 on 60hz i’m not bothered by it, you see the not so smooth animations compared to the 13 pro max but not a deal breaker.. maybe its due to the small size on the iphone 12. However after using the mini 6 for one week still cant get over it, its not slow per se, but when simultaneously using the 13 pro max and ipad pro and the mini, the experience on the mini is such a let down for me… i tried to like it as i love the form factor, but the “smoothness” just isnt tolerable for me. In landscape mode though, the jelly scrolling is hardly noticeable, prob is i mostly use the mini on portrait mode in one hand which is why i love its form factor. If i didnt have the 12.9 on and the 13 pro max it might not have been a deal breaker for me… its just that in my workflow and personal usage, i tend to use all these devices continuously so the ipad mini sort of became the odd man out…

the same with landscape mode. Aside from jelly scrolling, the fps drops in some animations and scrolling turned me off. touch latency is also horrible compared to other iDevices. Sold my Mini 6 and now using my iPad Pro again

Thank you for the feedback! Was eyeing the mini to replace my iPad Pro 11. Well I guess I will wait for the 2022 version then.

Hahaha

I bought a cellular iPad Mini 6. You just plug in the SIM card like any phone. Basta activated na SIM card mo you're good to go.
