Sun Cellular Settings for iPhone 3G.

the blank APN won't work with CSU, only fbband. It's what I use on my iPhone. And it's the only setting you need to put, username/password should be blank.

 

That was actually the first thing I tried once I confirmed my 3G connection's been activated. Afterwards I even rebooted the iPhone but still can't connect.

Ignore the Edge connection. I also tried this in a place with strong 3G and got the same results. Just showing you guys my settings.


Maybe someone can refer me to a person or place who can assist me? Sun's pretty adamant about not being able to help with iPhones.

 

hmmm can i use my sun broadband sim for the iphone? any settings? because i tried it and i cant connect to the net with it.

 

flare.... can that particular sim work w/ other phones? aside from the zte.

is your iphone "unlocked"? have your tried another sim w/ your iphone?

i have 3 iphones, all worked inc the one from globe

 

I was able to use my sbw sim but my post paid sim not allowing me to use 3G... weird.

 

Just to make sure...will this also work on the classic iPhone?

I tried inserting the SBW sim to my iPhone first gen but when I tried browsing, I'm getting the same error.

Any settings I need to configure?

On my globe-issued, globe postpaid iPhone 3G running fw 3.1, I have the Internet Tethering 'option' under Settings > General > Network.

However, on my (other) sun postpaid iPhone 3G running fw 3.1.2, the tethering option isn't there. Any ideas? Thanks.

i assume your iphone is jailbroken? just turn on the edge. maybe you accidentally turned it off.

I just got my Sun postpaid SIM for my iPhone 3GS (Factory unlocked). I can't seem to get the 3G symbol to show up in the home screen. Any help? People seem to have found a solution, but I can't find how they fixed it.

 

I used to browse on my phone (using Sun Broadband) effortlessly. I just put the sim on and instant internet but NOW, not anymore. I wonder why .... :/

 

Is there an app that let's you disable the internet connection via 3g? Instead of removing minternet in the settings. In winmo for example, there's an app called noData that can disable internet access. Is there an equivalent app that can do this?

enable tethering on you iPhone, connect your iPhone via cable or via bluetooth. tethering will be enabled automatically.
