Subfolders in Mail.app

    is there a way to create subfolders inside my inbox?? just like what entourage/outlook can do? i can't seem to find a create/new folder option anywhere in mail..

    i think you're referring to the 'new mailbox' function that let's you create subfolders. just right click on your main mailbox.

    The only subfolders I've managed to create under the INBOX category are the actual accounts I've made in Mail.app (two Gmail-based POP accounts and one MS Exchange-based account at work). I suppose you want to create subfolders so that you can sort your incoming mail automatically (or manually, pwede rin). To do that, I create new mailboxes and then rules that apply to incoming mail and put them in their corresponding folders. Those mailboxes can have subfolders, as you can see in the screenshot below.
