Anybody here knows what the code for local stocks listed in PSE? like PLDT, meralco, SMC, GLobe, SMart, Megaworld, etc... any links for this highly appreciated... Thanks for help..
I think if you type the name of the company, it automatically searches for it. If I remember it correctly, I once searched for Accenture and ACN was found...
Check the PSE website: www.pse.com.ph Look around in "Stock Quotes" or "Listed Companies". I assume you can check this using your iPhone's browser?
try to get the app Bloomberg in the itunes app store. Its free and you can configure it to get the PSE stocks, you just try to do search for example BPI and it will give you the selections. Here is the itunes link
what I mean was for say" Megaworld" or other PSE traded stocks to appear in my STOCKS App, so i wont need to open the safari browser... Hope anybody can help me.... Thanks.
at the upper right hand corner of the Philippine Stock Exchange website, you can look up the symbol/stock code for the company you are looking for. fids already gave the site. www.pse.com.ph i tried using iphone's safari and it works
tried bloomberg and it rocks! just put the stock codes in "my stocks" and you can easily see the changes real time in one window! no more "refreshing"!thanks for the tip!
Is this still not possible? Would love to see local stocks when i drag down notification on my iphone with new ios7
So far I was only able to find our PSEI (which is also PSEI) and JFC (which is JBFCF). What I did was to type the local stock symbol, then a list of companies that match will be displayed, The other thing is JFC is quoted in USD so you won't easily see the Peso equivalent.
Still not possible. This will probably be possible only when yahoo finance provide the information. Exchanges for some countries are actually supported, too bad, the PSE is not one of them. You can however add the PSE index by entering PSEI.PS as the stock code.
yeah, i actually have the index on it, but that's it. would have been better if i can search for local stocks. but i guess that's yahoo's problem and not apple's. hehe.
