Hi guys. I need a little help. I suddenly found an Icon on the left sidebar of my finder window under shared? I think its the first time I've seen it.Nothing shows up when I right click and press Get info. Any idea what it is? How can I remove it. Many thanks

i have that too... but mine shows the name of my dad's and my sisters computer... i'm using wireless. When they're off line, the icon disappears.

the "shared" in the sidebar contains all shared pcs, servers, etc in your network (wired or not).
you can take it out by unticking those items under SHARED in the Finder Preferences.
