squashed bug in my aluminum macbook. :(

    anyways, there was a bug inside my mac. i could see it in the screen.

    without thinking, i squished my screen to kill it. now i have this. weird smudge in mac screen. any possible way to get this removed?

    any service center or a store outside apple?

    is it still under warranty? best to take it to where you bought it. can't believe a bug got inside a unibody macbook. natatakot tuloy ako

    That is some kind of superbug! Or maybe a Decepticon? :)

    That's a unibody, AFAIK the LCD panel cannot be disassembled since there are no screws.

    Could be a faulty LCD assembly that allowed the bug to crawl in.

    In principle it should be covered by warranty and the entire LCD assembly should be replaced.

    These macs have lots of spaces were bugs could get in. They are drawn by heat and/or light. If you have dogs, be prepared for visiting fleas. Most common insect I see are ants. That is why it is a good ideal to clean your Mac and table free of food. Try not to eat around you Mac.

    i brought it in once. they said they couldnt do anything about it.

    hmmm... on my case, there accumulated dust on my screen. i ask digital hub about it, and they mention that can replaced the whole lcd, provided that i'll pay. do they offer you some conditions or agreements? that's odd. it supposed to mention it to you.
