Guys I have an old sony dcr pc101 that is used for video recording. It's almost 11 years old. My daughter wanted to shoot a play for a couple of minutes and since I don't want to lend them my camera which is new, so I decided to use this instead since it's really for shooting video. The only thing is they still need to edit the video. The problem is I can't seem to find any driver for mac osx so I can't transfer the video from tape to pc. Is there any other way to transfer the tape to my mac? I have searched the driver on the sony website and the driver is up to windows ME only.

Btw I tried to use the usb port of the cam to usb port of mac mini and the mac mini can't detect the video cam. It also has a 6 pin fire wire port cable but since the mac mini is 8pin, I can't fit it in. Where can I buy a 6pin -8 pin adaptor? I was thinking maybe it should connect through fire wire not usb.

    TIA!
