I also need the sticker -- though I don't have the unit yet (arriving mid-November).

Are you guys referring to the faux leather sticker? Try contacting Silie or look for Silienation at FB, she has the one for RX100 v1 but it can be cut to fit the M2 :)

Hi Guys, I'm considering purchasing a case for my rx100 m1. But I don't know which one and where to purchase it. I like that the rx100 is small and very portable and I can fit it in my side pockets. If I put a case then it wont be able to do that anymore. How do you travel with your camera? hoping to get some tips. :)

i used to have a brown leather case for it. made it bulkier..... since it had a metal body i decided to just go bare...... then i added the faux leather grips because it was a bit too slippery for me.

I see.. I was also afraid of that brown leather case being sold on Amazon... It wouldn't be much of a pocket camera it couldn't fit in my pockets. Thanks for your inputs.

I just want to bring it everywhere I go but also protect it just in case. Problem is most of the time I don't have room in my pockets or skinny jeans... :(

just attach a wrist strap to it. the rx100 is made of metal , very sturdy. a little scratch makes it more personal hahaha.

    did you already get it?

I bought an oakley shades pouch for my RX100 M1. dual purpose, for protection and cleaning the camera because of the quality of the cloth, and still pocketable.

Difference in price? I think there is a 5-6K difference in price.

Difference in use? It's still basically the same with improvements for the M2 in terms of image quality and High ISO. The tilting LCD is also quite useful as with the presence of the hotshoe. :)
