Just got my hand on the new Sony 35mm F/1.8 FE yesterday. Loving the lens so far. I wanted the f/1.4 Zeiss but couldn't justify the price, plus the fact that the Zeiss it's 2x the size and weight of the f/1.8.

Some sample shots with the Sony 35mm f/1.8 FE - it's supposed to be a "Cheap" (by Sony's standard) lens but it is tack sharp and has fast focus, quiet and quite contrasty :)

    Sony releases the new A6600 and A6100 plus 2 new G lenses: E 16-55 F2.8 G and E 70-350 F4.5-6.3 G OSS

The battery upgrade to the new NP-FZ100 is a great improvement and also comes with the 180-degree tiltable rear touch display.

Other than these 2 visible modifications, it's still pretty much the same as the previous flagship A6500 camera.

Wow! I would like to have the A6600 + 16-55mm except that it's way too overpriced. That combination cost as much as a A7lll+ 24-105mm f/4. Kung ganun lang mag full frame nalang ako. :(

That's why I'll stick to my gun for now. Although seldom used, the A6500's built-in flash comes handy when the occasion arises but is already shelved on the A6600. I'd rather aim for the A7III or perhaps the upcoming successor if the rumors would be fulfilled.

That's a good move. The A6600 + 16-55 probably weight as much (or close to) as an A7lll+ 24-105mm would weight. The advantage of the A6600 is the smaller body, while the A7lll will give you better IQ.

    I am loving the new 35mm f/1.8FE :)

So tempted to give in to the IQ factor offered by the full frame option while moving closer to the holiday months when price reductions come in handy.

Oh, that Tiger Sugar's Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cream Mousse is pure evil. Take the large size and your blood will thank you profusely :D
