So how tough is the iPad? Not very apparently. Not even as durable as the iPhone. Check the iPad stress test video here:http://www.pcworld.com/article/193388/apple_ipad_stress_tests.html Or via iTunes here: http://feeds.pcworld.com/pcworld/itunes/ You'll have to go through a lame Jonathan Ive impersonation first though, but definitely worth watching. Prepare for some scary images of an abused iPad! Leo
Wow looks like a bunch of twenty year olds spending daddy's hard earned money just to get attention. The PCW review was brutal. Although the ipad seem to have been killed by water they should have tried at least to do is resuscitate the device by letting it dry first, heck it worked for our cellphones and even worked for our Mac Mini that was flooded by Ondoy!
Wow!!! If people get paid to do that for a living I'd stress test everything that I can get my hands on. Worked for me too... Dropped my iPod in the flood due to me listening to tunes while walking in knee deep flood water. Got home, spun it like hell in a pillow case to try to empty the insides of the device by centrifugal force and dunked it in 3 cups of UNCOOKED rice. 5 days later... Plugged it into a wall charger (was afraid to plug it into my MB). And viola!! It's ALIVE!! ( insert Mad scientist laugh). Hehehe...
But, but, but… will it blend? I just love the Tim Moynihan's send-up of Jonathan Ive in the PCWorld video. "Magical!" heh…
The crazy baseball bat guy was just for attention, but I'm glad PC World did the stress test. Now we know what the iPad can & cannot withstand. Leo
Sayang naman. To buy and destroy lang in a few days or hours of ownership. Ok lang yung sa PC World bec that's what they do and sponsors pay for it.
Hahahaha this ones funny, tried it with my MacBook. Good thing it worked. Hopefully the Ipad is more H2O friendly?
