Im having problem sending email via smtp and it seems that gmail cannot recognize my password. has somebody had this problem and was able to solve it? thanks
I have the same intermittent problems. Sometimes it asks for a password sometimes not. I think it has to do with our ISP using dynamic IP addresses... Or maybe the network traffic of Google is just too much.
I have "on-and-off" experiences as well. I assume that it's just the traffic that the Google mail servers get. When downloading of POP mail is agonizingly slow, I usually have problems sending via their SMTP server. I just use the SMTP server of my other account to send out the mail. now im able to send via SMTP, hope this will be ok for the whole day. i think it's not the ISP since i used my GPRS and the land line based provider with the same error. [Edited on 12-3-2004 by crixz]
i also cant send out mails. the error message i get though is that the server is too busy or somthing :wound:
