^ That's good news! Still not reflecting on my OP6 though. I'll try to call them if they can provision it manually. EDIT: Yeah, the CSR that I talked to said that only the devices listed in their FAQ are the ones currently supported on their VoLTE and VoWiFi service. New reason to get a new phone?
Kelangan mo ichange yung Profile na active via PDC Tool for OnePlus devices. But this has been recently disabled sa Android 11 nila.
Sa PDC Tool select Commercial DT-VoLTE profile yan gamit ko before with SMART postpaid and both VoLTE & VoWIFI works.
Yeah, unfortunately it is a still no-go on my phone. Already rebooted. Thanks for the info though. FYI, bought this factory unlocked at Digital Walker more than 2 years ago. I'll try again tomorrow, maybe my luck can be better by then.
Yes. All prepaid subs from Smart and TNT should be provisioned for both, as long as it is an LTE capable SIM. I found a SmartPH MBN profile extracted from a Vivo phone, loaded it up into my handset using the EfsTool method but still does not work. Profile includes already the Smart ePDG server (epdg.epc.mnc003.mcc515.pub.3gppnetwork.org). I give up, for now... I think this is really on the backend of Smart if they will be pushing the proper VoLTE modem profiles on the older handsets.
FYI, not all Prepaid subs have VoLTE / VoWIFI provisioned. I have a SMART Prepaid 5G SIM as well and I don't have VoLTE / VoWIFI on that sim, only my SMART Signature SIM has it. So probably its your sim card has the issue, you can try contacting SMART and have it provisioned. As per FAQ, Select SMART / TNT Prepaid lang meron so basically not all. FAQ: Bro if you don't mind, may message ako sayo via PM, thanks!
Try enabling Airplane Mode, check the IMS Status, and if it's the same try making a call. If it goes through, you're on VoWiFi.
Seems like Smart is the first to be certified for VoWiFi. I hope other Apple devices will be able to use the cellular account without the phone being nearby na.
Just for fun, I did a teardown of Globe's and Smart's latest carrier updates (version 45.1 on iOS 14.3). I found these tidbits: -Globe doesn't seem to support HD audio (AMR-wideband codec) for calls yet. No trace of this on their carrier bundle. Smart does. -Globe doesn't support WiFi Calling on roaming. Smart does, which means you can save on roaming calls and texting costs. If you're lucky (i.e. if this feature works on Smart), your phone could even piggyback its Smart WiFi Calling connection over a local tourist SIM card, so you can make calls and texts using your Smart line everywhere abroad as long as your local SIM card has data service. It's basically WiFi Calling over cellular data of the local SIM. Here is Globe's WiFi Calling on roaming config This is Smart's.
Ang hassle lang kailangan pang i request ipaactivate VoWiFi and VoLTE sa Globe unlike sa Smart na automatic meron lahat ng device na capable for VoWiFi/LTE Nag request ako ngaun, activated in 30mins. Samsung phone
I did not request from Globe to have VoWiFI but I see it’s now activated on my phone. Maybe they are rolling it out before the official iPhone 12 launch in PH.
