    Weird. Good thing VoLTE on iOS works on your end. I only get VoLTE when I put my Smart SIM in my Samsung. iOS still drops down to 3G. VoWifi for me works on both platforms tho. I did set the LTE, VoLTE On setting on my phone but nothing happens lol.

    Yup, correct, verified this many times in different locations even inside malls that use repeaters.

    Just activated at midnight on July 29, 2020. Here in Baguio-Benguet area. I was having failed sms last midnight then i turned on the airplane mode and saw that wifi calling signal.

    anyone having issues with SMART VoWIFI since yesterday and today? It seems to be having issues sending out SMS or doing outbound calls.

    My cousin’s Smart Prepaid account has VoWiFi.

    for Globe i have to call the hotline and ask for its activation manually.

    so globe now is offering wifi calling? all i need is to call them and activate it manually?

    Last week Globe reached out to me to replace a supposedly obsolete femtocell.

    While on the phone I made another attempt to get VoLTE & VoWiFi provisioned for my mobile #. Hopefully they will approve.

    Doesnt seem to work, for my part.

    Smart postpaid, using Huawei P30 Pro.....

    Question : Does VoWIFI need to be between two VoWIFI enabled phones ON THE SAME Cellular Network provider? (I always thought it can be just between two VoWIFI enabled phone anywhere in the world)

    When and how did you call? Last I checked they removed the option to speak to an agent eh. I’d like to activate mine din.

    they're not offering either you ask for it before they switch it to you account.

    Globe VoLTE and WIFI calling services are provisioned to select subscribers only, mostly Platinum accounts. If you’re a plat subscriber, it is still not a guarantee that you’ll get provisioning, but you can maybe request it from your RM. If you have a very good RM, then there’s a good chance your request can be granted. This is because they’re still testing both features. VoLTE on iPhone created a disruption in service where provisioned numbers don’t receive incoming calls, “The number you dialled is incorrect” error happens.

    Okay so I was able to file a request for the alignment of VoLTE and VoWiFi for my account through the GlobeOne app. The rep who called me saw that it’s currently disabled for my account. Fingers crossed that the backend actually enables it in 1-2 business days.

    You can send your request in the app under Menu > Help & Support > Send us your concern > Network concern > I want to report a VoLTE and VoWiFi problem. I indicated that my signal still switches to 3G whenever I make a call and that I’m not seeing the VoWiFi indicator. :)
