Now that Smart's Mega Combo 250 is gone, I'm considering having my line cut. 90% or more of my contacts are on Globe eniweys.
if you lost your smart freedom plan sim, will they still replace it with a fee? or they will not allow you to have a freedom plan anymore?
Please keep to topic. This thread about the cheapest POSTPAID plan. Pre-paid dicussion should be done elsewhere. Salamat po!
ADVISORY: avoid buying the SMARTBRO prepaid home wifi for the mean time as i discovered a loop bug on its firmware where in it stops working after less than a hour then you'll need to reboot the whole modem to get connected and then it stops again. i have returned and asked for a refund already from SMART.
They will replace it for FREE. I just had my old Freedom plan sim replaced with a Tri-cut sim for free.
Thinking of letting go of my SMART plan but I want to hold on to my number until number porting is allowed in the PH. I can't see any information on the website about freedom plan and all their plans have 24 lock in even if you don't get a unit. What gives???
I'm a freedom plan subscriber...I believe they already discontinued this.....I rarely use my plan since glove is my primary carrier....smart also discontinued their mega 250 promo so I don't have any use for my freedom plan anymore....
I got a message that I’m qualified to receive “special offers” for my Freedom plan. But they want my consent for Marketing and Promotions to contact me, which I’m not ready to do right now. I’m curious what the offer is all about. Has anyone been contacted with such special offers?
Got this message because I registered my sim. I think it's because they updated their privacy policy.
LOL. We share the same suspicions. I would be glad to be proven wrong though. My wishful thought is that they finally have provision for esim service. But that may be shooting for the moon. That could be it too. Not too keen on having my privacy compromised though.
Was on various Smart postpaid plans for DECADES. During the pandemic, with broadband internet access at home and Viber / Messenger calls, I realized I was wasting a lot of money. As soon as it was safer to venture out to the mall, I switched my cell phone number to prepaid status, and wow! I hardly use my load that I monitor on the Gigalife app. No prepaid plan of any sort, but I just replenish my magic data load that never expires. Huuuuuuge savings!!! Now that is what I call a real freedom plan.
we're opposite... during the pandemic, i switch to postpaid from prepaid! they came out with a special plan...300per month, unli call and text and 6gb of data. i couldn't resist it. i used to be on globe prepaid and spending 243 per month for 1gb data.
Smart doesn't even consider Freedom Plan postpaid, its not allow to switch to eSIM. if speaking of best budget plan, check out DITO, I paid 712pesos for a year with 96GB of DATA, 3000 minutes calls and unli sms to any networks, all unli within DITO, its going to expire but I still got 70GB even I been on data mode 24/7 from past month and still has 2xxx min left,
Was this P300 plan from Smart? Does it include calls to landline and can it be converted to esim? There is an ongoing promotional offer kuno with a Signature Plan 499 that can be switched to esim. It comes with 6gb data and unlimited all networks calls and texts, including landline. And 3 months lock in period. I believe that’s the lowest postpaid plan that allows that. But I think it’s only for those porting in from other networks.
