You should go to Buy Online > Plan Renewal
I pre-ordered earlier for recontracting. Smart has special pricing.

So tempting! I am currently paying Php 3600 a month for iPhone X 256GB (plan 1499)
iPhone XS Max 256GB sets me off at Php 3900.

Did you receive a confirmation number or email and a pick up/delivery date? I recontracted via phone but the rep didn’t give me any confirmation nor a delivery date.

I got an application number. Plan renewal is subject to approval. Once approved, you’ll get an email/call to pay the cashout then phone will be delivered.

They do. 6 months earlier before contract expires as long as you will retain the same amount of plan or higher. :)
This offer only applies to plans with monthly payment of 2499 (excluding handset ammoritzation) and up.
Keep in mind though that when you decide to go for the early recontracting, the remaining months from your old contract will be carried over to your new contract.

Yes. You need to request for it like Globe.

Apple stated that they added a dual SIM (2 physical nano SIM or 1 nano SIM and 1 eSIM) feature so you can have two networks.

Locking both SIM slots to one network defeats this feature.

I bought a Cherry Mobile One from Smart. The Smart sales rep told me both SIM slots were locked to Smart and sister networks. I placed my Globe SIM into one of the slots and it worked.

I dont think both telcos orient their front liners well enough to give comprehensive responses.

Now, the question is, how do you get an eSIM when traveling abroad?

Can you apply for it before leaving the Philippines with activation happening upon connecting to the eSIM network?

Can you specify the date & time of the activation and deactivation?

When traveling abroad I just need at minimum 100MB/day with an option for SMS or cellular voice minutes.

Once you receive your order could anyone verify if the iPhone from Smart sports a eSIM or dual nano SIM slot?
