Anyone have any idea how much the retention pricing would be for Smart Infinity subscribers? I just called the hotline and they have absolutely no idea about anything regarding the preorders and the pricing structure.

Called Smart tele-sales to ask the status of my plan upgrade with a device. They said all those who pre-registered for the iPhone 15 will be processed on the 20th.

($1199 to ₱)/24 months = ₱2,838.11/mo for a US iPhone amortization. ₱3,216 - ₱2,838.11 = ₱377.89 for text/mobile calls/50 min PLDT calls/5GB data. Anyone have an idea how much is ₱/GB for excess data use? If it is ₱25.00/GB that is pretty cheap for postpaid data. As these iPhones have a nanoSIM + eSIM but locked to Smart then get a Smart-affiliated prepaid SIM for cheaper data. I think the downpayment requirement is a sign that subscribers defaulting or refusing to pay all 24 months of the plan became too prevalent.
Keep your proof of purchase with the serial # of your brand new iPhone. Include the box, documents, plastic and USB-C cable. The iPhone below is not mine and this is being shared as a PSA. Anyone experiencing AMOLED burn-in like this? If you do immediately report back it to the iPhone reseller, Globe or Smart for a replacement. The longer you delay the less likelihood they'll replace the whole iPhone and instead repair it.
