I wonder if Smart does deals with transferring customers? Will be departing from Globe (Platinum) and moving to Smart
For existing subscribers, if you are not part of the creme de la creme plan holders, you cannot get an eSIM.
Since eSim is not yet that popular here in the PH, we might get the sim card version (from Smart's ad in the first pic, looks like a pin hole on the left side )
I was able to get one on the same day last June, was able to activate it within the day. There might be a lot of requests for it that’s why they are not able to process new ones.
worth it ba mag postpaid ngayon? with similar case like me who is just at home most of the time. the 5G might plans might not be attractive. If I opt for prepaid is it full amount upfront? pwede ba installment? and locked for how many months?
I'm still subscribed to their unlimited data plan which they are trying so hard to swindle from me. Anyways, I find that when my Converge connection is down for one reason or another, I can still use my mobile hotspot from my iPhone or iPad to continue what I'm doing
I use the data as my backup connection, but sometimes I max it out i might need to upgrade plans or do something creative to get more data than what I have now
Does it get throttled at some point? That’s the only reason why Im still with Globe Platinum, P2,500 is a cheaper option pa
Maybe they don't throttle down. I'm still on a grandfathered 999Php Unlidata post paid plan from long ago, and I don't notice any throttling. I go on dialysis 3 times a week and I use data to watch anything from Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Paramount Plus and more. Absolutely no throttling.
oh nice….. I might try walking into a Smart business center this time. My online pre-order experience for the iPhone 12 PM wasn’t great and I remember those who walked in without pre-ordering got their units before I did. Or maybe Smart got better at this pre-order thing? Anyone here had experience pre-ordering online from Smart last year for the iPhone 13?
I’d do the smart store route as well. When you try to renew your contract online, it’s just going on circles. You’re just being routed to your account summary again and again.
Mm…anything major has to be done at the Store. From 20 years with Smart experience, things get done faster in person.
