Who will upgrade to the iPhone 13 series thru Smart this year?
Mobile Number Portability (MNP) may open opportunities for a better deal
me! im excited for the pro and its screen tech since im coming from an xr (which i sold last june pa. pixel user currently) camera is just an added feature. nice to have but not needed. at least for me. and yes, number portability might give us current subscriber a better deal. or not.
Let's hope that MNP will force carriers to give their best deals for the new iPhones. I'm also hoping that Smart will resume their eSIM distribution.
pardon my ignorance what is MNP?
MNP is Mobile Number Portability. You can use your old number even if you switch telcos.
MNP is Mobile Number Portability
Pre-existing mobile # can be "ported" or moved
from postpaid to prepaid & vice versa within the same telco
from Smart to other network & vice versa
4G/5G in the places you go to are bad
you want better rates
keep the mobile # due to OTP, everyone knows it and other reasons
Things to consider when the iPhone 13 comes out
Look at the ₱ per GB rate for excess data. If it's near 12.5/GB then it's good
Rates for text/calls for same network & other network. If it's unlimited then it's good
iPhone amortization rates per month. Computed as US MSRP divided by 24 months with our without 12% VAT
iPhone amortization per month + services = Total Monthly Fee
Total Monthly Fee X 24 months = Total Cost of Ownership
I am looking to reduce my 3600/month iPhone Pro Max 64GB to one near to 2350/month iPhone Pro Max 128GB
this should have unlimited calls/text all networks & landline
at least 2GB data
near 12.5/GB excess data rate
me, i have not gone to the mall yet though, are they taking orders now?

I don't think this is true yet... at least with Globe. I've been wanting to convert my pre-paid Vanity SIM into a line for the longest time. Been using it for the past 14 years.
Be careful of iPhone 13 repacking,
Hello! Do we have any updates or information regarding pre-orders of the new iPhones under Smart and/or Globe?
Or would it be done the same date with Apple's official pre-order date (given the fact that they have been doing it this way before)?
Good morning! Here are the cash-out and/or amortization amounts for the iPhone 13 Pro line under Smart Infinity Plan 3500:
iPhone 13 Pro 256GB - P31,000 (One Time Cash-Out) or P1,300 for 30 months

iPhone 13 Pro Max 512GB - P48,000 (One Time Cash-Out) or P2,100 for 24 months

**First 80 Smart Infinity 5000 Plan subscribers are set to have better promos! If I'm not mistaken, I think the base one or the 256GB Pro or Pro Max would be free.
yung.sa iba kayang plan, any idea?
Hi! I'm afraid I have no information regarding other plans as I'm on Smart Infinity . But I was told cash-out for other plans will be announced during pre-orders!
I am guessing that renewing to a $1,099
iPhone 13 Pro Max 128GB
iPhone 13 Pro 256GB
iPhone 13 512GB
for Plan 300 will be around 2,600/month on a 24 month contract.
Previous $1,099 iPhone had it at 2,900/month
im trying to "renew" my plan on thier mobile website so that i know what to do later. im just going circles.
I actually just finished pre-ordering my preferred phone! Perks of being an Infinity Subscriber. Good luck to everyone pre-ordering later at midnight!
