    I'm just curious how SMART subcribers' iPhone 12 / pandemic release experience went since all of the chatter are from Globe.

    I pre-ordered on 12/11 online. With close to no updates apart from a couple of calls, I was ready to give up on the online order process. Well lo and behold, I got an email and payment instructions from Smart an hour ago, paid via online banking, and now the status is "Package for Delivery". No specified date when though.

    Looks like I made the cut for the Pacific Blue iPhone Pro Max (256Gb) after all. No need to visit a physical store -- yey! How about you guys?

    Same for me. I pre-ordered on 12/11 and only got the payment email today. Status is for delivery as well. Looks like it will be delivered on Monday.

    I downgraded to 128GB. I had 256GB Xs Max before and I’m only using a little over 50GB since I have 2TB iCloud storage.

    I’m in Smart Store right now. Waiting for my iPhone 12 Pro 128gb Pacific Blue. I didn’t do any pre-order. Hehe. I’m for plan renewal btw.

    Yeah, it sucks that they don't give you a delivery date. My 256Gb iPhone X is about 98% full so I couldn't go lower than 256 for this iteration. I considered the 512Gb but the price difference for just a storage upgrade is criminally high so I decided to go with 256Gb. Good luck to us! I also hope we get freebies lol

    I considered doing that if I didn't get any movement today in my online order. Luckily there was an update so I don't have to go to Smart. Just a bit of patience and I'll get that shiny new toy eventually.

    How's the queue and the process?

    My line was up for renewal so I decided to pre-order online.

    Pre-ordered online last Dec 11, no status and was stuck on for approval so last Wednesday, I went to SMART RCB Legaspi to pre-order nalang sa Store. Everything went smooth and well.

    Arrived at the Store 8:30am earlier to pick-up my phone and was out of the store in 15 mins .

    All I can say is, holy 5G

    Got my unit a while ago. Store pick up. I pre ordered last december 11. Buti pa smart mabilis.

    Did you guys get any freebies? It seems like Smart's online pre-order process is far behind Globe's because I haven't heard of any online pre-orders that were delivered today. Physical stores seem to be the way to go.

    I was doing my plan renewal online since iPhone 7 and what I noticed is they update their inventory on launch day so even if you pre-order, you’re not gonna get your phone delivered on launch day.

    Yup. And there's no reason for Smart not to know the inventory ahead, collect and confirm our payments, and then deliver on the launch date. Globe's process is not perfect as well but they at least got that basic planning and logistics part better.

    Anyway, they never delivered on weekends in your past experience? The reason I ask is I need to run some errands this weekend and no one will be left at home to receive the phone if it gets delivered so I'm 50:50 if I should leave tomorrow or not.

    My officemate got scented candle and cloth bag as freebies. Pickup was at Smart SM Sta Rosa.

    According to the Smart Store Manager that I was speaking with earlier, Smart decided not to do deliveries due to COVID. Only option is store pickup. I don’t have any freebies since I didn’t pre-order. Haha.

    Arrived at the smart store in Sm Aura by 10:15 am was out by 10:30. Very smooth transaction. Was very helpful that we had a dedicated person to look for. Same guy who called me and took my pre-order last Dec 11, also called me yesterday to remind me of the release of the phone (like I would forget about it) and processed the phone pick up.

    Pacific blue pro max is preeety!
