Is it just me or is there anyone else here, who's been having difficulty downloading from iTunes Store and even their podcasts?

Should we assume that you are located outside the Philippines? If you are, slow download speeds from iTMS would be odd.

Internet speeds in Asia have not yet normalized. Though your connection might feel normal at times, it will feel slower than usual at most.

It took me some 20 minutes to download the latest Fall Out Boy single this afternoon. But that was using a dial up connection (isp bonanza). :D

Advanced apologies in case this is a stupid question, hehehe... :p

Are iTunes Music Store purchases already available to the Philippines? Isn't it that you need to have a credit card billing address in the US or other countries like Japan, UK, Italy, etc before you can download from iTunes Music Store?

Or are there some items there that are available for download regardless of country?

Or is there a way to purchase from iTunes Music Store even if the Philippines is not yet included in its list of affiliated countries?

johannes, there's a loophole to the iTunes Store system. If you know anyone from the US or any other country, where iTunes Store is available, you can either ask if you can use their credit card or ask them to buy you an iTunes Gift Card

Is it happening again? My iTunes download is slow tonight. I used to get a consistent 1Megabyte/sec download. Now, it fluctuates from 800KB down to 100KB(not bits). Dowloading an episode usually takes 8 to 15 min in standard def. Now it takes 24 min. I tested my connection and it's not my connection that's the problem.

^well theres not much to complaint with just a marginal time difference IMHO. But yeah, i also notice that itunes' acting a bit slow after i upgraded. I just always thought that it is about the traffic. But maybe its due for other reasons. Either way, its somehow bearable.

I just checked, and now it is unbearable at 80KB. It will now take 1 hour.

Yup been getting slow speeds as well.... I wonder why podcasts download faster, aren't they connected to the same network?
